The thought of interviewing a new financial advisor or going to go see one for the first time can be a bit daunting. At B.I.G. Investment Services, we strive to provide you with a comfortable yet thorough no pressure experience.
Consultation Process
We start with our free two-step introductory consultation process. This allows each of us to evaluate whether or not we may be a good fit for one another in the long run. Although this process is beneficial in person, we have many clients that have completed it by phone and computer conference as well.
Initial Consultation
The initial consultation will consist of introductory questions geared towards giving us a full understanding of your needs. This meeting typically lasts 1-2 hours and will require you to gather some documents and complete some minor pre-work.
Secondary Consultation
Your secondary consultation will occur a few weeks after the initial consultation and typically lasts 1 hour. During this appointment we recap our discussions from the first meeting and lay out an in-depth plan to help you get where you want to go financially. We also cover any needed investment education at this time, strategies designed to meet your specific financial goals and costs for our ongoing services in assisting you with the plan.
No Pressure
You are never expected to make a decision on the spot.

As a matter of fact, we even encourage you to interview other advisors as we feel our thorough approach and attention to detail are second to none. Should you decide to employ our firm going forward, we handle all of the details for you. We strive to make your transition as easy and painless as possible.
Follow Through
Once we have facilitated the transfer of your investment accounts, we schedule your 90-day review.

This appointment consists of going over your first statement and checking on any pending activity that we had discussed prior.
Ongoing Service
Taking a pro-active approach, our clients have ongoing 6 to 9 month reviews scheduled in advance.

These appointments consist of close monitoring of your financial plan and review of your investment performance. Need to see us sooner? Just give us a call.
